Zebra Midge(HEAVY) - While there are nearly an infinite amount of variations, the tried and true Zebra Midge in both black and (some variation of) olive continues to be a staple in trout boxes world-wide.
Considering the rising costs of...everything, and my return of "Budget Bugs" this pattern was a no brainer!
*Budget Bugs refers to patterns tied on the same name-brand hooks with (where applicable) the same tungsten beads as all of my other offerings while also maintaining (in my opinion) an industry leading durability standard. These patterns would typically be labeled "guide flies". They are simple, generic, and place "fish-ability" before "bin appeal".
Keeping people on the water....just not "my" water....is important to me, and these simple flies do just that!
And let's be real, the simple stuff routinely outproduces the more complicated patterns anyways....except my more complicated patterns...
