This little fella was created by Ben Vandevender and is absolutely deadly on pressured waters.
I’ve personally seen this fly catch fish in competitions behind me, fish that I fished to for way to long with the more conventional offerings didn’t hesitate to crush the gaudy mega egg.
I resisted it’s outlandishly large profile for far too long but have finally embraced it as one more tool.
Tied on barbless Fulling Mill hooks with tungsten beads.
