This exact fly is almost always the first nymph I tie on and one that, after only a year, gives me the utmost confidence.
PLEASE NOTE: Red thread is notorious for blending in to the fly after applying resin. This personally makes no difference in my own fishing since its predecessor, the Hare and Pheasant, suffers from the same issue.
