The glitter thread body and a fluorescent orange hot spot makes this a deadly attractor fly. While purple is hardly a natural color, it inexplicably gets eaten, and eaten well!
I particularly like this fly in the summer or in the winter, but like the Purple Haze dry fly, it’s always worth trying year round.
