This fly was built to dry drop! Attached(with 10# braid and super glue) at the bend of the hook is a micro tippet ring. Gone are the days of tying the dropper line through the eye of the barbless dry!
This method of dry dropping has been around for quite a while, specifically in England. But these rings are most often found on Klinkhammers. Klinks do offer nice floatation, but I wanted to up that even more with the addition of a deer hair wing.
