This fly is great fished as a jig streamer, but it also imitates the largest stonefly/ mayfly nymphs really well!

I had ordered a mess of flies from Small Batch Flies and they came quickly and were wicked effective on my Eastern Idaho waters. The local Rainbows were eager to give a tug when I’d find where they were hanging. Later I got a request for a review of a single fly and that confused me (I’m 77). I didn’t associate a single fly with my order of several. I regret not thinking things through and reacting that way. These are quality, uniformly tied and two of his nymphs have caught a dozen fish and haven’t had to be replaced. Bottom line-ignore the one star. Small Batch Bugs is a quality product that catches fish. You really need to follow him on the grams and watch him create these flies. Respectfully, Jim
